Brian Moran, a 1st generation New Yorker, grew up in a lower income neighborhood on Long Island. After graduating from high school, Brian enlisted in the Navy. While still on active duty, he enrolled in Towson University, graduating Suma Cum Laude in 2.5 years.
Settling down in Maryland, Brian went to work as an economist at Bureau of Economic Analysis and then as an IT Director at the U.S. International Trade Commission. In 2010, Brian founded a federal IT and management consulting firm, GovernmentCIO. After rapidly growing the business over the next decade, he successfully sold the company.
Now, when Brian isn’t working to solve the world’s problems, he enjoys spending as much time as possible with his two boys, who are the inspiration for everything he does.
